What is it??? A harmonizing of the past and present offered as sound medicine for our Bodies…
What can I expect????
A Gathering that is inspired by and in Honor of the New Earth. She is bringing ALL of us together in Sacred Play.
We will open with a Circle to unite our intentions and energetically connect through breath, touch and voice. We will agree to create Safe Space for Oursleves and Each Other. There will be no drugs or alcoholic beverages permitted during this experience. We invite the Sound and our Bodies to be our Medicine on this Journey.
Nick will Play, weaving together the frequencies that bring us into Balance and Harmony, creating an environment for Ceremonial Sound Medicine to be shared.
We will Move as the One and the Many at the same TIME. Time itself will expand and contract to allow for a full present awareness… no rush… a natural unfolding.
There will be natural transitions that we will Flow into through this 3 hour set. The space is warm and has places to rest in nature, refuel and share in all the ways your spirit guides you.
A Sharing Circle to close will help us bring this experience into a soft and grounded place where we can begin the integration process together in a supported way before we go off in our many directions.
Nick Waraksa is presently called “Txai com os instrumentos” (Brother With The Instruments) by Ninawa Pai de Mata, Chief of the Huni Kuin tribe in the Amazon Rainforest.
Nick was born into a family of musicians dating back generations and holds degrees in piano performance and music theory from prestigious institutes. He expresses himself through playing an entourage of instruments and creating albums in the genres of Neoclassical, Future Folk, FolkTronica and MedicineFolk. He delights in offering DJ performances featuring the LIVE instrumentations from his productions.
He has also studied and held space with music in sacred ceremonies with several tribes and spiritual leaders of the Amazon Rainforest.
What Nick enjoys most is the spirit of improvisation, asking himself and his audience… “How deep can you lean into the moment? How can you learn as much as you can and then forget it all in order to dive into the unknown once again, at the risk of having to turn potential “mistakes” into owned moments? It is a process that leads to the uncovering of new melodies and frequencies. A metaphor for life. The imperfect perfections within us all, personified as sound.”
