Criollo Cacao is an ancient lineage that has been protected in Guatemala for over 3,000 years.
These batches are prepared by a Mayan Daykeeper. She follows the Sacred Calendar and blesses each batch with a unique blend of spices to hold the energies of the day within it.
Legend has it that there were 2 teachers, a man and a woman empowering the people with wisdom. They were teaching Unity Consciousness, the power of Love and the Union of the Divine Feminine/Divine Masculine Energetic Within. When war came to their land and the Teachers knew it was time for them to depart, the people mourned and begged for them to stay. The Teachers said that they would never leave the people and that their Wisdom would be held for Humanity in the form of Plant Medicine. The woman’s transformed herself into the Cacao tree, strong, rooted with branches spread wide. The man transformed into the Vanilla vibe and wrapped himself around her strong trunk and into her wide branches searching for the sunlight.

There are 13 servings per bag. Traditionally the powder is mixed with water that has been boiled and taken off the heat prior to adding the cacao, so the cacao is never boiled. Air is mixed in vigorously as the Medince embodies the four elements of Earth, Water, Fire and Air. The intentions are sung, spoken or toned into the mixture before it is consumed on an empty stomach. An hour or more is given to Journey and Share.
